This privacy policy applies to the Cash Now - Instant Assist app for mobile devices created by Cash Now - Instant Assist Developer as a free service.

Local Finance Data

The app is a private on-device money tracker. Transactions, debts, budgets, savings goals, and chart data are stored locally on your device unless you choose to submit text to an AI feature.

AI Chat and AI Transaction Parsing

AI features are disabled until you explicitly agree inside the app. Before agreement, the app does not send requests to /api/parse-transaction, /api/chat/create, or /api/chat/request.

For AI chat, the app sends only message text, chat_id, and the fixed system_prompt to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app. The purpose is only to generate general budgeting, saving, and debt-payoff responses.

The chat backend keeps conversation continuity server-side by chat_id, so the app sends the latest user message rather than the full transcript. OpenRouter Chat proxy acts as a service provider / third-party processor for this limited AI chat purpose and is expected to provide same or equivalent protection for the data it processes on behalf of the app.

For AI transaction parsing, the app sends only the parser text you type, the selected currency, and local category names to the Cash parse API at cashnowplus-api.up.railway.app. The purpose is only to turn the text you submit into an editable transaction draft. Parsed results are saved locally only after you review and confirm them.

Do not submit personal credentials, account numbers, tax records, legal documents, or sensitive financial details in AI prompts. You can revoke AI data sharing in the app Settings / More screen. Revocation resets the local chat session, removes the local chat_id, and blocks future AI sends until you agree again.

Automatically Collected Information

The app may process technical device and usage information needed for app operation, attribution, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and service improvement. This may include device identifiers, product interaction information, IP address, operating system, app usage timing, and similar technical information.

Third-Party Services

The app may use service providers for attribution, analytics, feedback, hosting, and AI functionality. These providers process information only for the services described in this policy and are not permitted to use it for unrelated purposes.

Data Retention

Local finance data remains on your device until you edit or delete it or uninstall the app. AI chat continuity is tied to chat_id and may be retained server-side by the AI chat backend for continuity and reliability. Revoking AI data sharing removes the local chat_id from the app.

Children

The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.

Security

The service provider uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect information processed and maintained by the app and its service providers.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
